Well today is back to school eve.
All our planning and praying and packing has been for this day.
On New Years Eve Dunstan and I were in a plane flying to Brisbane from the Philippines. We literally hit the ground running, as we then had three ish weeks to pack, clean and store our stuff before flying to Tiwi.
Our first week was filled with more cleaning, orientation, PD sessions about "Restorative Practice" and hanging out with staff. Its been tiring but rewarding at the same time. Savouring the last moments before the students arrive tomorrow.
Some of you have asked to see pictures of the inside of our house, and so the night before the kids come, I finally feel ready to share some photos.
Here goes. Welcome to our home.
Who. What. When. Can you tell I've been working at a school these past two years? I think not. |
